Bon Marche Market Place, Bangkok

If you’re looking for a nice and clean market, the Bon Marche’ Market Place is one of choices. The market is located in Prachachuen area (near Wat Sa-Maen Naree). It is likely a place for local Thai people or those living around. Because of its location is a bit off the beaten route, I thus rarely see a tourist there. But I’d say it’s definitely worth to visit.

Called the market, you can find all fresh foods but here isn’t kind of the old market style. You won’t see a wet floor or be smelly. The market has several zones – Bon Market, Bon Food Court, Bon Restaurant, Bon Service, Bon Plaza and Bon Jewelry. There could be also called one-stop market place. What would you like to do? Buying fresh ingredients for cooking, Having delicious meals, Shopping cloths/jewelry/furniture and all sorts of accessories, Banking transactions, Receiving Thai massage or even checking your own fortune with fortune-tellers! It’s all there. A parking area is also provided and well organized.

  6. foofookie says:

Escribitionist, it’s opposite side of Wat Samaen Naree, head to Prachacheon Rd. hey, do you like a chocolate cake? there’s one shop and it’s my favorite one!

  7. foofookie says:

Grayman, I’m afraid that there doesn’t have a hamburger shop as I recalled. wait a minute, there has a steak house. you could probably get a burger from there.

  8. @foofookie yes, i do. i like dark chocolate 😀 where would you recommend?

  9. foofookie says:

Escribitionist, the shop I was talking about is renowned by thier chocolate fudge. there are many kinds of flavor though; blueberry, mocca coffee, coconut, orange and etc. Named “Bow Cake”, you will probably know it, i’m not sure. They also have other branchs. A original shop is located behide the Thai Airways’ head office at Viphavadee Rangsit Rd.

I’m a farang who’s lived in Thailand for years and Bon Marche is one of my favorite places. I go every week. The food is amazing (the food court is excellent) and since they’ve added all those new restaurants and cafes, it’s a fabulous place to go to meet friends for lunch.

Very nice photos you took too 🙂
